Description
This five-week diabetes management class taught by Certified Diabetes Outpatient Educators (pharmacist, nurse, registered dietitian) covers all aspects of diabetes management: nutrition fundamentals, label reading, meal planning, glucose monitoring, medication management, insulin treatment, foot care, exercise, preventing complications, and more. With a physician's referral, many insurance companies cover the cost of these sessions.
