Description
This is one of the more beautiful walks in the state. The trail starts out up hill. It passes through an abandoned state campground, and then drops back into the valley. It continues upstream along the right bank of the Falls River to the cascade and the parking lot. The loop is about 3 miles long over well-trodden trails. To get there take Rte 165 west 5 miles from Rte Rte 3. Right (north) on Escoheag Hill Road (paved) 2.3 miles. Right on Falls River Road (gravel) 1 mile, down a steep grade. Park by the river.
