Description
Jointly owned and managed by The Nature Conservancy, RI Audubon and RI DEM, this short but rugged hike will take us over rock ledges, through dense Rhododendrons and into a spectacular gorge. A side trail leads to a gigantic outcrop that you can scramble up or walk around. There are many overlooks with magnificent views. Proper footwear is a must; hiking stick is helpful. Trailhead parking is very limited. Meet at Park-n-Ride off Rte 3 (or Exit 1 off I-95) at 9:30 AM. Visit www.westerlylandtrust.org for details.
