Description
Put in on left bank below the bridge. The Wood River runs deep and the current is steady along this stretch. We’ll pass some marshy areas that are perfect for bird watching. Below Woodville the river makes a sharp turn to the left. The dead end millrace runs straight ahead. Meet by the bridge and dam on Woodville Road in Woodville. Takeout is at Alton Dam.
