Description
Depending on seasonal rain or snowmelt, these areas of water vary in size and depth and support many amazing creatures. While spotted salamanders may be the stars of the show, fairy shrimp, caddisflies, wood frogs and a variety of invertebrates also depend on this unique ecosystem. Presenter Bruce Fellman is a noted local naturalist and writer. Meets at DPNC.
