Description
Children ages 8 and up will discover the secrets of vernal pools from fairy shrimp to salamanders, vernal pools are teaming with life. After an introduction to vernal pools and the importance of these unique habitats, we’ll spend our time exploring them and the changes in life from the beginning to the end of the month. Dress to get your feet in the water - wear rubber boots or old sneakers and bring a change of shoes! You might even want to bring a change of clothes in case you get wet. Membership required. Meets at DPNC.
