Velvet Mill's 12th Annual Holiday Show and Open Studios

After more than a decade of development, the Velvet Mill has grown to become one of Connecticut's premier artisanal hubs, where artistic skills have been honed, vanishing crafts revived and modern techniques developed.  The Velvet Mill has become a space where artistic integrity and private enterprise can conformably coexist.

 

An exhibition in the main gallery upstairs will be on display, showing tenants work along with some complimentary refreshments and the private studios or painters, sculptors, weavers, ceramic artists, photographers, jewelry makers, furniture and artistic home decor, graphic designers, a renowned glass blower and other accomplished artists will be open to all to browse and appreciate.

 

A vast array of Independent stores including art and antiques dealers, multi media printmakers, media digitalization services, handcrafted cheese shop, alternative therapists and many more local businesses will be in attendance, and ready to welcome you into their establishments.
