Velvet Mill 10th Annual Open Studios and Holiday Show

Celebrating its 10th anniversary, the artists, artisans and small businesses at the Velvet Mill in Stonington, welcomes the public with open studios in this historic building.
 
Over 30 studios will give visitors of all ages an opportunity to explore this creative and thriving community. Visit the studios of ceramicists, creative arts therapists, designers, glassblowers, jewelry makers, metal artists, painters, photographers, Fine Art and Screen printers, restorers, sculptors, and weavers.
 
A variety of new studios and businesses have popped up all throughout the mill and include an artisanal bakery, a microbrewery, a vintage clothing boutique and a Yoga Studio. We are also thrilled to be the winter home to the Stonington Farmers Market open Saturdays  10am-1pm.
 
Join us for Friday night’s opening studio stroll, from 5-8pm and return on Saturday 10-4pm to revisit studios, see demonstrations, participate in tastings and other fun activities. Maps will help you explore the nooks and crannies of this historic Velvet Mill. You are guaranteed to have a fascinating and enjoyable time.
