Description
One of the most important steps in growing great vegetables actually happens before planting, - testing the soil where you plan to plant the garden. Soil and the microbiology in the soil is more important than anything else that makes your vegetables grow. A soil test lets you know which Minerals, Trace elements, Anions and Exchangeable Cations are present in your existing soil ready for the optimum growth of your crops.
Cost of the class includes the cost of a soil test.

In this online class offered via Zoom, we will cover how to conduct a soil test and what results you are looking for.
Soil Testing - Part Two - Reading your Soil Test Results
Saturday, December 5, 2020, 1 - 3 pm
Now that you have gotten your soil tested, we will provide instruction on how to read your results and how to use them to make adjustments to your soil. We will cover how to determine the basic needs of your soil and where to get supplies. Cost of one test and results reading for one garden per student is included.
