WHAT:                 Approaching retirement age? Already receiving Social Security benefits but have questions? Are you eligible for Social Security benefits? Do you need Medicare? Come by the New London Library to learn how you can estimate future benefits, file a retirement, disability or survivor claim and how continuing to work can affect your benefit. A Social Security representative will be here to provide you with everything you need to know about Social Security and much more!

WHY:                    Social security is a key component to many boomers’ retirement plans, but many don’t fully understand the system or how to make the most of it. Catherine LeBlanc, Public Affairs Specialist for the Social Security Administration’s Boston Region Area, will be onsite to answer questions on how Social Security and benefit requirements work.
