Description

Free – all are welcome!

Join us for a presentation and panel discussion with the Stanton Davis Homestead Museum Executive Board, exploring one of Stonington’s most fascinating stories. Learn about the 1600s homestead built by Thomas Stanton, one of the founders of Stonington, and hear about the plans and progress being made to preserve this historic site. Discover the connection between the homestead and The Road Church through Stanton’s daughter Dorothy, who married James Noyes, the church’s first minister. More than 400 years later, their descendants still live right here in the area.
