Description
In the cold November waters of Quonochontaug salt pond, which can be seen from Weekapaug Inn, seals come to visit us. Our marine friends will usually stay in the area until April, but early November is the best time to see these wonderful harbor and gray seals from our boats on the water.
During Seal Days, our naturalist and captain will run boat excursions at the following times: Friday at 1:00 pm, 3:00 pm & 4:30 pm. Saturday at 9:00 am, 10:00 am, 2:00 pm, 3:00 pm and 4:30 pm. A seal slide show will take place at 6:00 pm on Saturday and is open to all at no charge. Guests will be given a coupon on board the boat for our Seal Day Special! In our Garden Room, participants will get a mug of our amazing chowder half-priced or free when they purchase a meal.
