Ribbon Shirt Workshop
Join Willow Colebut (Mashantucket Pequot) for a ribbon-shirt-making workshop. Ribbon shirts are worn by contemporary Native Americans as part of the regalia worn for powwows. Participants must be experienced sewers and bring their own sewing machines. Patterns are provided as is the list of materials for participants to purchase. $30/$20 Museum members, payment required at registration. Limited to 12, ages 12 and older.
