Pancakes & Preschool Open House

The Stonington Community Center, Inc., COMO, will be hosting a Pancakes and Preschool Open House Event on Friday, February 27th, from 5:30pm-7:30pm. Meet our Education Director Ms. Priscilla and our COMO Team as they lead guests through a day in the life of a COMO preschooler! As a readiness program, the COMO Preschool implements a curriculum that takes into consideration age-appropriate skill building while simultaneously encouraging and supporting fun and exploration throughout the day. The COMO campus is our classroom, including: a dedicated Preschool Classroom; Art Studio; Gym; Fields; Children’s Garden; Playground; Kitchen; and stage. Open House activities include the opportunity to explore the preschool classroom, create a project in our Art Studio and navigate an obstacle course in our gym! After being fully immersed in the COMO Preschool experience, your family and preschooler is invited to enjoy a delicious complimentary pancake dinner, meet other families and children, and get all your questions about the program answered. You may drop in at any time during the event, all are welcome and encouraged to attend!

The Doris Muller Preschool at the COMO is excited to introduce a new full-day care option this August to supplement the current traditional preschool and extended day programs offered! As an experienced licensed childcare facility, the COMO is eager and excited to be able to meet the needs of even more families in the Greater Stonington community! The Doris Muller Preschool operates on a rolling admissions basis so families can enroll and begin at any time of the year. Options include 2, 3 or 5 days per week enrollment.
