Description
Mystic Seaport invites you to enter a “sea of wonders” with Nautical Nightmares: The Vampire’s Vessel. In this frightening theatrical, Van Helsing’s investigative team has arrived in Mystic to solve the mystery of the ghostly schooner Demeter. But will they survive the investigation? Inspired by Bram Stoker’s Dracula, Nautical Nightmares: The Vampire’s Vessel includes four spine-chilling scenes of murder and mayhem with incoherent inmates, lethal ladies, rats, bats, and plenty of gore!
Each Nautical Nightmares performance will last approximately an hour. The walking tour meanders on a route that covers approximately 1/2 mile of uneven terrain, including (though not limited to) cobblestone, wood planking, grass, gravel, and stairs. Performances are held in all weather conditions, so please wear appropriate shoes and seasonal outerwear.
Nautical Nightmares requires a special ticket in lieu of general admission. Pre-registration is encouraged as tours fill up quickly. Elements of the show can be frightening and are not recommended for children under 12 years of age or the faint of heart. Each tour is limited to 18 people.
