The Business After Hours, scheduled for tomorrow – Tuesday, September 25, 2012 – at Lawrence + Memorial Hospital has been POSTPONED until a later date in the near future.
The event, to be sponsored jointly by the Chamber of Commerce of Eastern Connecticut, the Westerly/Pawcatuck Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Mystic Chamber of Commerce, falls on the eve of Yom Kippur, the Jewish faith’s highest holy day. Yom Kippur services and observances are held on the eve of the holy day.
The hospital wants to be respectful of the Jewish community and apologizes for the inconvenience to those who were registered to attend. An announcement will be made soon about a new date for the event.
