This year, the focus of International Migratory Bird Day 2013 is on life cycles. All aspects of a migratory birds’ life- from nesting and migration to breeding and raising young is part of the discussion, as well as the need for conservation throughout the life cycle. Join us at Westerly Land Trust’s Grills Preserve along the Pawcatuck River to learn about species that split their time between Eastern North America and the tropics. Grills Preserve is an important refuge used by resident breeding and migrant birds. Members are $8 and non-members are $10.
