The United Nations International Day of Peace provides an opportunity for all individuals to come together in spirit and action to forward the ideals of and conditions for peace. This global day of peace is observed in cities, towns and villages worldwide. The Peace Sanctuary is a fitting place to celebrate our local history of peace with a guided walk, and meditation. Bring a picnic if you like; dessert and beverages provided. Co-sponsored with the Southeastern CT Center for Natural Path (Sahaj Marg) Meditation. Meets at the bottom of driveway at the Peace Sanctuary, 233 River Road, Mystic. This program is suited for adults and older, interested children.
