Grant Writing I (Basics) 9 am -4 pm -- Learn how to search for data and resources, formulate objective, plan content, write, package and submit a proposal. 

Grant Writing II (Writing the Grant) 9 am-4 pm -- Individualized instruction as you write an actual grant of your choice.

Techniques and Strategies Workshops
 
Grant-writing workshops deliver professional development for organizations, nonprofits and volunteers to gain the critical skills and strategies needed to meet the unique challenges of raising capital to secure funds for programs. The workshops are designed to provide core competencies in research opportunities, planning, persuasive writing, and budgeting. The instructor is Robert Cipriano. This workshop is offered by URI's Office of Strategic Initiatives.
