Free Child Safety Fair

Join us for a FREE Child Safety Fair, providing important 
up-to-date safety information for parents. 
• We are excited to welcome our special guests from the Westerly Police Department and the Westerly Fire Department! Children can see the police car and fire truck and meet the officers. 
• Parents can drive through our certified Car Seat Check station and make sure your car seat is properly installed. Motor vehicle crashes remain the leading cause of death of children, ages 3-14. By making sure that your seat is installed correctly, you can prevent serious injury or death in an accident. You can also pick up a free car seat id kit from The Children’s Workshop.
• Visit with local community representatives from New York Life. They are creating free on-the-spot child id kits with photos and fingerprints.
• Jaffra Cosmetics is educating us on the importance of sun safety and skin care.
• Prevent Child Abuse RI is also providing some helpful information for families in the community.
• There will be more fun activities for the kids! This event is free and open to the community, all are welcome!
