Description
Eelgrass beds support a wide range of sea life, including pipefish, crabs, flounder and shellfish. Learn more about the importance of eelgrass beds along Fisher’s Island and throughout our coastline in this online class through Zoom. This program is being held by the Fishers Island Seagrass Management Coalition who is beginning to identify locations around the island that would be best suited for Seagrass Management Areas.
