Enjoy authentic Austrian Lager Ale with Sam von Trapp, grandson of Maria von Trap whose story was illustrated in the iconic Sound of Music. The Ale tasting is complete with a casual three – course, family style meal prepared by executive Chef Devin Bozkaya. After enjoying the dining and tasting experience with Sam von Trapp, guests will have time to discuss von Trapp Brewing’s Austrian Lagers and the brewing process with Sam. This evening celebration is from 6:30pm – 10:00pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at the Weekapaug Inn.
Sam von Trapp, grandson of Maria von Trapp, muse for the Sound of Music, shares his Lagers from the von Trapp Brewery and Bierhall, a brewery started in 2010 dedicated to crafting the highest quality authentic Austrian Lager Ale. The Brewery and Bierhall is located in Stowe, Vermont at legendary Trapp Family Lodge which opened in 1950 after the von Trapp family singers toured around the United States.
