Birding at Mamacoke Island
Description
Join us for winter birding along the Thames River, one of the best spots in eastern Connecticut to see wintering waterfowl. This site, within the Connecticut College Arboretum, has been designated as an Important Bird Area by the National Audubon Society. Meet and park at the east end of Benham Avenue (Waterford) just before the railroad tracks. Dress for the weather.
