Description
Senator Sheldon Whitehouse will be at Savoy Bookshop and Café in Westerly to talk about his new book Captured: The Corporate Infiltration of American Democracy. Offering a firsthand look at life in the Senate, Whitehouse will talk about what corporate power is and does. Interviewing Senator Whitehouse will be Gara LaMarche, Chair of the New Press Board of Directors and President of the Democracy Alliance. The audience will be invited to ask questions following the talk, and Senator Whitehouse will be available to sign books. Do join us for this free event, beginning at 7:00 p.m.
