Description
The Athena Award was invented in 1982 in Lansing, Michigan, to recognize outstanding business and professional women in the community and to create leadership opportunities for women. Twenty years later, the program continues to honor those who help foster the potential of all women as valued members of and leaders of the community. Nominees are recognized for their community service, excelling in their career/vocation, and demonstrated efforts to help women and achieve leadership roles.Event to take place October 22 at Lake of Isles.
