Pine Point's 3rd Annual Royce Speaker Series begins its 2016-17 season with an evening conversation with noted author and parenting expert Dr. Michele Borba on Tuesday, October 18 at 6:30 p.m. in the Mitchell Building.
Dr. Borba will discuss how we can give children the "Empathy Advantage."
"Empathy is a skill that's vital for children's mental health, resilience, leadership skills, and job success," Dr. Borba said. "Your child [can] learn simple habits that cultivate empathy and instill kindness, courage, and confidence."
At the conclusion of her presentation and Q&A, Dr. Borba will sign books including her latest title, Unselfie, which will be available for purchase that night.
