The 19th Annual Pawcatuck River Duck Race
Date: Saturday, April 29, 2017 11:30AM - 2:00PM
What's the Duck Race all about?
20,000 rubber ducks are dumped into the Pawcatuck River on the Westerly, Rhode Island and Pawcatuck, Connecticut border for a race that benefits 40+ local charities. Children's games, rides, food booths, and other activities make this a wonderful family event.
Who is this fundraiser for?
This fundraiser is to help 40+ local Schools and Non-profits raise money for their worthy causes.
I would like to get my Business involved in the duck race, how can I do so?
The Ocean Community Chamber of Commerce has many ways your business can help support this great event.
1. You can become a Duck Race Sponsor! Without the generous support of our sponsors this event would not be the success it has been for all these years. We have many different levels of sponsorship and we are more than happy to help you figure out a sponsorship level that will help you reach your marketing goals!
2. You can also participate by sponsoring a Corporate Duck! Every year right before the main duck race we hold a special race for corporate sponsors. Only 150 ducks are entered into this race and one lucky duck will win the grand prize of $1,500 in cash!! The Corporate Duck Entrant Fee is $150. Click Here for Corporate Duck Form
All corporate duck races will be listed by company name in the event program distributed in the Westerly Sun and in the "Thank You" ad in the Chamber newsletter, distributed to 800 members. To try your luck at winning the Corporate Duck Race.
3. You can Donate a Prize on behalf of your business to the Duck Race. For your prize contribution you will be listed in the event program distributed by the Westerly Sun and Mystic River Press, and in the Chamber's newsletter following the event.
