16th Annual Walk for a Cure
Choose a full, half or quarter marathon or a family fun 5K Walk! Walk as a single walker or join a team. Be a part of finding a cure.
NEW this year is our virtual option! Participate from anywhere in the world at any time. 100% of all donations raised go to breast cancer research.

Event details:
Fundraising Commitments:
Full Marathon (26.2 miles) - $500
Half Marathon (13.1 miles) - $250
Quarter Marathon (6.55 miles) - $200
Family Fun 5K (3.1 miles) - $150
VIRTUAL Walker (any distance) - $150
Cancer Survivor - $100 for any marathon distance (IN PERSON or VIRTUAL)
Student Participant (ages 12-22 years) - $100 for any marathon distance (IN PERSON or VIRTUAL)
Fundraising deadline is December 31, 2021.
There is a $30 registration fee for all participants.
 
Registration & Packet Pick-Up for all events begins Friday, October 1, 2021 at the Vicky G. Duffy Pavilion, 155 College St. Old Saybrook, CT 06475 from 5pm-7pm
Walk Day - Saturday, October 2, 2021
Registration & Packet Pickup Available at 5:30am-7am at the Vicky G. Duffy Pavilion, 155 College St. Old Saybrook, CT 06475
Opening Ceremony 6:40am; Full Marathon begins at 7am
Half Marathon Registration & Packet Pickup Available 9:30am-10am at 8 Capitol Dr, East Lyme, CT 06333
Warmup 9:50am; Half Marathon begins at 10am
Quarter Marathon Registration & Packet Pickup Available 12:30pm-1pm at the Niantic Baptist Church 433 Main St. Niantic, CT 06357
Quarter Marathon begins at 1pm
5K Registration & Packet Pickup Available 1:30pm-2:30pm at Camp Harkness 301 Great Neck Rd, Waterford, CT 06385
5K begins at 2:30pm
 
Measures are being taken to help protect the health and safety of our walkers & volunteers. Hand sanitizer will be available at all marathon starts, opening ceremonies, closing ceremonies, and pit stops. Masks are encouraged (especially at opening/closing ceremonies), but not required at this time. We will continue to monitor COVID-19 conditions in our area throughout the following weeks, and adjust as needed.
