Event is free to attend. $5 to sponsor a duck to race for over 90 valuable prizes!
Description
12th Annual Duck Race now being held at the Westerly Yacht Club
10:30AM - 1:30PM Fun and festivities. Great food, rock wall, moon bounce, duck games, face painting, Cheto the clown and more!
11:30 PM - Corporate Duck Race -Separate race of only 150 ducks sponsored by local businesses for one cash prize of $1,500
12:00 PM - Main Race - 20,000 Ducks released into the Pawcatuck River
Prizes! Over 90 fabulous prizes will be awarded to the first ducks chosen from the water. The Grand Prize is a trip for a family of 4 to Disney World, Orlando, FL, including airfare, hotel, and park passes or $2,500 Cash! Other prizes include YMCA memberships, gym memberships, certificates to local restaurants, retails stores, and much much more!

Support Your Community! This two-state river race is the largest charitable event in the two-state region. Over 50 schools and non-profit organizations participate in this Annual Event each year by selling Duck Sponsorship certificates. Check your favorite local school or non-profit organization to see if they are participating in the race!
Costume Contest! This annual duck costume contest will take place at 12:30PM at the Chamber of Commerce Tent. A special prize will go to the cutest ducky and all children will receive a special gift for participating. For children ages 1-8.
