DESCRIPTION:This free 8-hour certification course helps adults who interact frequently with adolescents to learn how to recognize the risk factors and warning signs of a mental health crisis. The benefits of early intervention and referrals to appropriate resources will help adults on the front line learn to spot behaviors needing attention and help give support and information to youth most in need of mental health intervention services. Must attend the second session on 1/28 to earn certification.\n\n\n\nSponsored by Healthy Bodies\, Healthy Minds of Washington County. National grant funding allows for free training to anyone living\, working or serving residents in Washington County.
