DESCRIPTION:Gardens by the Sea is a self-guided garden tour through the historic Borough of Stonington. Experience the beauty hidden beyond its garden gates and explore waterfront vistas\, terraced landscapes\, and enchanted pocket gardens. The tour will showcase 10 private gardens\, as well as several ribbon and community gardens. Garden "experts" (such as Master Gardeners) will be available in the gardens to answer questions. Tour also includes a tented Marketplace with 20-30 vendors and "Plein Air" artists in selected gardens. All gardens are within a half mile of each other\, and free parking will be available. Tickets are $50 through June 8 at www.stoningtongardenclub.org/garden-tour. After that\, tickets will only be available onsite on the days of the tour for $65. The event is rain or shine\, and tickets are non-refundable.
