Our Drawing Raptors program will cover the particulars of how to draw hawks and owls from a live reference. This is a three-part series that begins with a short introduction to our resident birds of prey. The first class will get you started and focus on techniques\, tips and drawing the shape and contour. During the second class\, we will work on shading to create the illusion of light and form. The final class of the series will cover adding those finishing touches\, textures and highlights. Basic drawing materials\, pencils and paper will be provided. Please feel free to bring any additional materials and mediums you would like to utilize such charcoal\, pastel and beyond. Meets in the JX Barn at Coogan Farm. This program is suited for adults.
