DESCRIPTION:Join Westerly's own Big Lux as he makes his debut performance at the UNITED Theatre! He will be joined by the Westerly High School Jazz Band\, a dynamic group that gave Lux his introduction to jazz and improvisation as a student.\n\n \n\nBig Lux is a hip hop violinist\, lyricist and former soldier who has introduced audiences all over the world to his unique\, high energy and genre-bending stylings. His music led him to social activism and eventually into politics and a seat on the Westerly Town Council. Joined by his All Star Band and DJ Shurelive in his most ambitious production yet\, he will tell the story of how he deployed around the world with his violin and came home to Westerly to start all over again.\n\nTicket profits will benefit the Westerly High School Band's fundraising effort to represent the town at a Disney World parade.
